As I get ready to release Tokyo Nights: Episode Three (or at least hit the publish button and wait for it to be listed, first on Amazon and then everywhere else) it seemed appropriate share a snippet from it. It is definitely turning into an interesting story, and with the plan for this first season to be ten episodes long, my draft has begun to hit the season’s climax. The tension is building and everything is sliding into place.
I have spent a lot of time reading after hurting my thumb last week (it’s definitely a lot better now), tried an author I hadn’t before and then wondered why I hadn’t, it might have been easier on the bank balance if I had… ten book series, sigh.
“You don’t still believe I’m a cop, do you?” he’d shouted at Ogawa.
A dark grin spread across Ogawa’s face, one that made Hisato shiver and he wanted to drop to his knees and beg. “No, Gorgeous. If you were a cop, you would already be dead. I don’t trust easily… and you haven’t done enough for me to trust you… to bring you into my bed.”
“So, what would it take then? If you haven’t noticed, I really fucking want you.”
“Yeah, I noticed. The feeling is mutual. Prove yourself, your loyalty… bring me Tadashi and we’ll see.”
