Rainbow Snippet–Tokyo Nights

Tokyo Nights: Season One, Episode One has been released!

Though while I’ve found writing a serial provides instant gratification with seeing an end product quickly, but the process of cover design and promo graphics etc is condensed into a shorter time span. Sigh… It’s good then that I’m enjoying writing it. You can also keep up with releases on the Tokyo Nights page, along with any content warnings (and anything else fun related to the serial.)

He grinned, walked around the bed and tugged the covers right off exposing the beauty who’d shared his bed last night – as they often did. They were free to share his bed whenever they needed to and it wasn’t all about sex either – and chuckled at the litany of complaints tumbling from their mouth as they flailed about looking for the blankets Tatsuo had so rudely taken from them.

“Angel, get up. I can’t spend all day in bed and neither can you.” He grinned brighter as they sat up and pouted. Tatsuo laughed and shook his head at their antics, both knowing it would never work. He opened the door, glanced over his shoulder and stared at the long silky strands of hair spilling over their shoulders. “If you’re lucky, Angel, Masanori brought coffee.”

Rainbow Snippets is a group for LGBTQ+ authors, readers, and bloggers to gather once a week to share six sentences from a work of fiction–a WIP or a finished work or even a 6-sentence book recommendation (no spoilers please!).

  1. That was a really fun snippet. I have to admit I had a moment of disorientation when I started, until my mind settled the “they” into one person. That’s probably because I’m coming in cold without reading what came before. It’s a really lovely image though and I know I’m going to like Angel
